Exactly. Do all 'people of colour' need reparations or just African-Americans? Hell, the Japanese got reparations for their internment in the 1980s from the Reagan administration
All these minority groups use the cause of AA's as a vehicle for their own political agendas. It started with the feminists, then the homosexuals, now it's trannies and all these other groups.
There's also the fact that liberals will only tolerate you as long as you conform to their political agenda in its totality. There is no space for self-determined black people in that camp.
Look at how they've fragmented the black community even further by introducing intersectionality to a community that's already deeply fragmented by decades of racist policies. Surely this was not done in the interest of black people as a whole.
If you're a black woman, not only are you oppressed by white males, you're also oppressed by black males so you have to fight on two fronts (three if you also happen to be gay). Now you have these idiots equating 50% of their own population to cac oppressors
All because of some BS theory that was invented by some ultra liberal cac academics with too much time on their hands. Many of these theories are not even taken seriously in the world of academia
But unfortunately some black people are willing to get behind this movement because they see them as useful allies. They are not.
In my humble opinion, black people need to move past this liberal/conservative nonsense and formulate their own political agenda which takes into consideration the unique set of circumstances that they face as a unique group. It does not mean that they cannot cooperate with other groups, including liberals, but their movement needs to promote black interests first.
A black political party in City/state with a large black minority could achieve some real, tangible results at the local and state level. That's a good place to start
