He's going to the Mavericks. Rockets just got Corey Brewer the other day.

They can run a "small" 2nd lineup with Smith gettin' minutes. They can also swap him in for Parsons or Dirk off the bench.

1st: Rondo, Ellis, Parsons, Dirk, Chandler

2nd: Barea, Harris, Jefferson, Smith, Villanueva

Why would the Mavs do that tho? They have Jefferson; that should be enough. Josh Smith should have found his niche, and this would not have happened.

Dude nobody is saying Josh a star but he can be a good piece on the right team. I always looked at dude like Shawn Marion when he was young. In the righ system like small ball Shawn was a great player. In a more conventional team Shawn was garbage.

Even as a veteran with the Mavs he fit because he was just a defensive specialist who was not asked to create shots or be a top 3 option.

Also I could care less what team he went to. I just watch games and the players don't have anything invested in these teams.

Matrix was damn near 20 & 10 with Kid, 20 & 10 with Steph and 20 & 10 with Nash. With NO plays ran for him, 2+ spg and 1.5bpg....and was one of the best on-the-ball wing defenders since Pippen. What's Josh Smith excuse for doing nothing well?
