I’m really liking the first 2 episodes. But I also like the first episodes of Outer Range and that ended up turning into poo in my opinion. But I’m intrigued for sure, as a fan of futuristic Sci Fi I love the look of the future world.

Yea the country accents were noticeable but i felt that was by design and I didn't have a problem with it. I mean, that's what they are: country ass hill billies in a hill billy town lol.

If anything, it made me more attentive to the authenticity of the other accents tho. Obviously the British breh sounds British, but if the rich white dude hadn't referred to himself as Russian, i'd have never known bc he sounded more accent-less. Whereas the woman he was talking to had a very thick accent.

If it goes for a few seasons, they may have to have Flynne gradually drop that accent like Storm and Scarlett Witch did over the course of their movies.

I don't mind it, as it makes her stand out.

Ol girl from Punisher

Seems like finding Alita/discovering what Flynne saw will be the through-line of the season, along with trying to stay alive in the present.

I do like seeing the different uses of the future tech. Also the brother/sister dynamic occurring with 2 groups of characters.

Looks like they're not going with the "if you die in a dream/VR you die for real" cliche...but they ARE suggesting that if your peripheral dies it does at least cause some physical damage to your real body.

Yeah, she already has the shaky hands and with future breh being coy about what happens to her, it wouldn't surprise me if she suffers long-term or maybe even fatal damage when all is said and done.
