Has there been any other character that’s been more of a POS than Oz????
Maybe one of hte characters from Oz(Schillenger, Adebisi or Keller) or Ashur from Spartacus. Ashur was one of them "wow you snake lil bytch you :pacspit: " type characters by the end. Those the ones that pop up in my mind as on the same level.

so they couldn't put someone in a batsuit real fast to hang off the side of the building. :martin:

In this universe, batman is a self-serving teenage incel ignoring the rot and crime in the worst parts of NYC.

His absence from the show is intentional and indictment on him as "hero" which is what The Batman and the first Joker drove home.

TYRONE GA!
Colin said he doesnt like wearing the suit, so that's why there probably wont be a season 2. Doesnt mean he wont be in the movies. Doubt they do all this just to kill oz off in the show. Doing the movie, he doesnt have to be in the suit as much since he not the main actor on there. Shooting a show based on penguin, you gotta be in the suit a lot more for filming.
Zaslav gotta cut the check. Everyone has a price. Have
Vic return as Victor Zsasz for Season 2

After claiming to champion the little guy for eight episodes, Oz killing Vic, the very literal definition of it, was easily one of the greatest piece of shyt moves I’ve ever witnessed in any form of media

The "little guys" all slimed each other out....there is no loyalty in that world and the asian dude told Vic to keep his mouth closed.

We don't need a season 2.

They should end the Penguin storyline in the movie then find another character to do a bridge tv show between movie 2 and 3. I nominate Two Face.

So chance for a season 2, and colin says he attached to be in Batman 3. He has like 5-6 scenes in Batman 2.

Orrrrrrrr

Gotham is huge and he can't be everywhere and it's only Year 2/3 of him being Batman

Nah

The show explicitly points out this all happens in the most neglected part of Gotham. The movie points out the Wayne family can be seen as self serving. The movie points out Batman is in many ways no different than the villains he squares off against (Riddler).

before the explosion...what was a 'batman' level threat even?

two crime families warring over territory in the slums?
People selling drugs in night clubs and corners?
a high speed chase? random shots fired?

None of that would come CLOSE to using the bat signal...literally this is a HARVEY BULLOCK level issue...

then the explosion...and they use the bat signal THAT NIGHT.

batman wasn't ignoring anything that was close to being a factor. Like I said earlier, The Riddler was literally blowing up court houses, killed the police commissioner, killed the district attorney, and flooded the entire city killing likely tens of thousands. This drug war wasn't shyt in comparison.

Thats kind of the indictment tho. Batman is a self-serving highlight reel artist when places like Crown Point are the actual incubators for the villains he eventually faces off against. "Bruce Wayne" could help address the institutional rot at its root without all the theatrics but doesn't.

Also Penguin and the Falcones were already on his radar but he stops caring once cat woman leaves the city :skip:

Breh he is one man. There is a reason the 'bat family' exists. He isn't the cops. Drug war shoot em up shyt does not register unless he happens to see it in action on patrol. The explosion was the attention getter and the bat signal was activated. He's probably going to go after penguin for this when he connects him to the explosion when he investigates it. That is how batman works.

Penguin was already on his radar... the Falcone family massacre was already on the news...Riddler already pointed out Batman is as much a self-serving incel who uses fear as he is. You completely ignore that buddy does nothing as Bruce Wayne beyond sulk.

the incel shyt you're injecting in the character is weird breh. Bruce Wayne is a gloomy guy in a gloomy city with dead parents. Sorry if as a young man he isn't running the charity circuit like other iterations are yet.
