- Selection of downsampling methods (not just bilinear sampling)
- Downsampling in linear color space
- Support downsampling to high-frequency (e.g. 120 Hz or 144 Hz) target modes
- Not limited by display hardware
- Take screenshots of either the pre-downsampled full buffer or the actual image displayed on screen (automatically sorted in per-game folders!)

Some dudes are running games at 8K with this tool.
I just tried a few games.
Sonic Generations-work. 4K framerate is at 30fps.
Sonic and Sega All stars racing transformed-Works. About 45fps at 4K.

MaxPayne3-No

How is running in 4k even feasible? What's the catch here?
This tool works with other games besides ds2. It just has extra options tailored towards ds2. I have a 2gb 7870. I don't have ds2. I'd wage that one could probably get 30fps at 4k if they lower their graphical settings.
Maybe if you're at the lowest settings. 4K is tough. I can watch 4K videos on my 690, but barely. I can't imagine playing a graphically intensive game in 4K. I think something has got to be up with this program. I mean, how can anyone possibly be running anything at 8K?
I guess I'll have to look into it, but it just doesn't seem technically feasible. Something else has to be going on. Or maybe I simply don't understand the theory I guess

you got a 660 right? You should be able to down scale from 2560x1440 to 1080p.Don't think I have enough power to do any of this
And still keep 60fps?
And I don't know how people say downscaling looks better. I did it with state of decay and it made it look worse IMO. Unless I was doing something wrong.
