That's not true i got my key right away. me and @GoldenGlove
Yes when the deal was first posted, which is no longer the case, they caught on and some people were left in limbo.

Just open the link you posted, you it automatically detects where you live and says the deal is no longer available in your region.

I've finally converted my little brother over to the winning team from consoles. We would like to go through the process of building a very good gaming laptop (he doesn't have the room for a desktop really), money isn't too much of an issue. We want power :birdman:, we're not too fond of the whole upgrading process so we like to get the best we can especially since it's early in the next gen gaming wave. I bought my current desktop from CyberpowerPC but I'm curious if anyone else has any different sites that they build their computers on?

first of all, you can't compare PC gaming to any gen of console systems.
at any point in time you can upgrade your PC.

you have to wait years for a console to upgrade.

why would you want to game on Laptop?

aggghhhh!!!!!

Are we not in the next gen wave of games? :dwillhuh:

I know that, but I hate upgrading. It's why I buy big in the first place to try to prolong it as long as I can. :yeshrug:

Because he dosen't have the space for a desktop. So he wants a laptop to save space.

Does he live in a closet? That's a bad argument breh :laff:

Even building in a mini-itx case is a better long term investment than a gaming laptop

Because his room is small? It's not like he's completely giving up his consoles just to play PC. Maybe I worded my original post wrong, I finally got him into it but he still plays console.

I still recommend a mini-itx and then go ahead to connect it to the HDTV.

BUT if you do want a gaming laptop, I know you said budget doesn't matter...but it does. What is the MAX you will spend...you can grab a tricked out Alienware/Sager but you might be looking at 5K if you want the best of the absolute best.

I'll bring that up to him and see if he likes the idea, he shouldn't have a problem with it since he games on a HDTV anyway instead of a PC monitor. But it's so damn awkward to PC game on such a big screen IMO. :why:

I'd say about 3 grand is the most we would spend, which is a shame really because for that amount a desktop with power beyond comprehension could be bought.

I'll see what I can do concerning the desktop situation,I would prefer if he had a desktop personally but he's the one who ain't changing his stance.

I didn't know Alienware had good quality like that, I always thought it was overpriced for the paint job honestly, I'll check them out along with Sager since that's the 2nd reference I've gotten to them.
