don't blame you since DayZ is a mess at the moment. but what is Rust really like? I imagine is must be pretty 'snappy' using the source engine. how does the average game play out for you?

Day-z is such a fukking clunky game, I actually like that it runs on the source engine, I haven't used a gun yet but I assume the shooting mechanics will be nice. it feels like any other source type game, I like the crafting aspect, the game is a lot more forgiving survival wise and it's easier to find resources. I haven't figured out the proper way to really play right now, I had a fukk-ton of resources and loot and I just got killed by some douche bag from brazil screaming on his mic while shooting at me and another noob with an mp4.. I think I need to find the quickest way to get a gun just to be able to protect my resources. I can't stress enough how much I hate the controls/engine of Day-z, the movement is especially annoying to me in Day-z. You kill animals to get food/cloth, use a hatchet to mine minerals, hatchet trees to get wood.. then craft stuff... there's campfires, structures, medicine, weapons, armor and clothes and stuff... i heard they're adding in a helicopter

eh.. its a new server, we building it up.. through out the day usually 5-9 people online at a time. But you know how that goes, once you get to 15 people then its quickly 30 people etc

breh, i finally built my resources back up, got a bow and arrow, and I saw some structure in the distance, go over to it thinking there was loot inside, I had to run up a staircase and jump through the open roof, unbeknownst to me, there was a locked door on the front so I couldn't get out. had to suicide then proceeded to get killed three times by people with guns
