It was this one:

It was $789 before tax. I returned my card for $309 so I bought this with 2 year warranty for like $602.18. The sticker on the box said $1100 though lol.

Went to Microcenter because they showed they had some 9070s (non XT) in stock for $660. Got to the store and they only had one left but it was on hold by another customer for the day. They had a 5070 for $549 so I went ahead and got it. I know they've been getting trashed but I figure anything is better than this 3060ti. Hope I didn't mess up.

Oh well I have 30 days to return if so :yeshrug:

After half a year of FOMO'ing about pc gaming I found a damaged box 4080s from gigabyte Amazon store going for 800 and bought just due to the price.

Built a whole PC but giving it to my dad for his birthday because he mentioned wanting an upgrade for playing flight sim and he deserves it.

Messed around on it for a couple of weeks first though. Currently going back to my save in Avowed on my Xbox series S from that and Jesus Christ :mjcry:

Ignorance really is bliss

This 5090 problem, is a problem. I might just open up my unopened 4090 and deal with that. This GPU shyt is crazy. How can you buy one? Disappointing. I'll just deal with a 4090 until the 6090. It's not that much of a bump anyway. This GPU shyt is terrible; I hate this shyt. It shouldn't be this hard to buy a $2500 gpu, that keeps going up with no new stock. This shyt is terrible. What's wrong with the PC shyt? How can it be this hard to get a 5090?
Cryptocurrency and AI.

It's really that simple. Nvidia knows people are desperate to use their GPUs for crypto mining and AI. AMD just needs to step it up

I think I'm going to buy an OriginPC prebuild with a water cooled cpu and water cooled 5090. What I want costs $9k, but I can sell a lot of my shyt for the pc I never built to lower the cost. shyt, with 5090s costing damn near $4k on ebay, $9k isn't even that bad for everything else included. When I build pcs myself they normally cost me like $8k total. For an extra $1k, they build it for me and give me a warranty. I think I'm gonna do it. I'll think it over for a week, but it seems to be a smart decision.

$9K for a gaming PC? Hell that's almost what I put down on my car.
