Made the mistake of getting a 4050 a couple of years ago and couldn't run Indiana Jones beyond low settings. Cut it off as soon as I saw that shrubbery.I'm future proofing this go 'round.

My monitor keeps randomly going black but my PC stays on….can hear sounds from clicking around but the video won’t return. Any ideas what this may be?
Could be a lot of things. Have you tried hooking the pc up to another screen and seeing if it still happens? Does a power light on the monitor stay on?

Power light on the monitor stays on…haven’t tried hooking up PC to another screen. I’ve been looking at a bunch of different solutions online, didn’t feel like opening it up but it’s still occurring so I’ll have to.

There was a point in time where I wouldn't even have considered an AMD CPU... That comeback was amazing. Hopefully they can do the same with GPUs in the next few years.

Same. I threw AMD in the bushes over a decade ago. Kept reading how their chip is best for gaming. This shyt is smooth as butter for every game i play. Looks like im back on the AMD cpu ship.
hooking up to a tv or another monitor could tell you if it's the monitor or the pc. But if the screen stays powered on it's more likely to be something system related, maybe GPU issue. Could try using DDU to fully uninstall GPU drivers and reinstalling them, but only do it if your cpu has onboard graphics.
I think my problem was I almost never reboot. Must have been training the memory because my boot times have gone down from 3 minutes to about 43 seconds. I've been making an effort to reboot the PC at least 2 times a week.
