I've been out of gaming since last year after Baldur's Gate 3. Is EKWB dead yet? I still haven't built my computer yet, and I've had the parts since January. I have an unopened CPU and an unopened 4090 :dead: I'm starting to want to build it this week though, but I might just wait until the 5090. I need a waterblock for the 5090 though. EKWB has always been my go to, but that shyt will cost $500 no doubt, and they may be out of business soon last time I checked. Is there a better water cooled vendor? Who should I go to?

Also, whatever happened to that guy that won my old 4090? Nothing :dead: I'm sure he sold that shyt on ebay. I'm done giving things away to the community. But I shoulda known better. Whatever, I'll take the loss
Yo, I'll take whatever scraps you got and most def put it to good use. I've been without my PC for a couple of months now. Went through hell having it diagnosed. Now it's sitting on my living room floor until I have the time/money to get it up and running again.

I actually didn't try it until earlier today but that shyt is way smoother than I expected. I played mk1 and it felt like I was playing it directly from my phone. Just need to try it away from home now

Just make sure you don't leave any NSFW open on your pc. Cause some times when you quit a game, Steam link will instantly show your desktop.

What are some recommendation for head phones? I need 2 types

1. Gaming headphones that will replicate having surround sound
2. Work head phones that can block out noise in your background so that people in the meetings can't hear.

Running SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for both. ANC decent, 2 batteries, and great gaming profiles. Plus able to listen to BT and wireless simultaneously.

fukk Steam Link. Just discovered the Moonlight+Sunshine streaming pair. Can launch any game that's on your host machine, regardless of the source. No problems. And the latency is much lower on my cheap Lenovo tablet: ~15ms vs 200ms+. Full audio and controller support; haptic feedback, but no adaptive triggers.

Early 2025 is looking DISGUSTING for my time and money

1/23 - Rebirth
1/30 - Spidey 2
2/04 - KCD 2
2/14 - AC: Shadows
2/18 - Avowed
2/27 - MH Wilds

This shyt crazy, cuz. One of these alone would take me a month+ to complete. Luckily nothing's dropping in March through June that I'm really interested in, except for maybe Crimson Desert.

Just copped a 4070 Ti Super BNIB for $320

Been thinking of swapping out the R9 5900x with a newer gen AM5 but it's hard to justify the added cost of mobo, cpu, and ram for ~30 fps.
Good shyt. I had the come up of all come ups last month. I scooped a 4080 Super on Marketplace for $600. Dude was in a bind financially and needed bread quick. He only bought it back in May for $1100 from Best Buy. I got everything, box included, plus the receipt. I was intending to put it in my second build with a 9800X3D before I decided I wanted to do an all AMD build instead.

So then I went on the hunt for a 7900 XTX. Found a dude on Craigslist of all places that was selling a whole damn gaming PC with a Sapphire Nitro+ 7900 XTX in it for only $1300. That GPU itself sells for over $1000 brand new. He had the boxes for all the parts plus the Microcenter receipt. Dude lived kinda far but we settled on a halfway point about 90 minutes between the both of us.

I bought it, took the 7900 XTX out, put the 4080 Super in and just sold the whole PC this past weekend for $2000. Essentially got the Nitro+ for free. Love it when shyt works out like that.

:blessed:
