anyone here own a xbox series s?

im thinking of getting a 4k monitor but is it that big of a jump, in image quality, from 1080p?

Depends on the size of the monitor. My main monitor is 2560 x 1080 and I'm good with that. Now on a TV, yeah that's something you will notice.

Damn, even with poor airflow in the case, that's no bueno.

AMD is aware of the issue (it's the vapor chamber apparently) and is RMAing/refunding customers. That's one reason why the XFX/Red Devil/Sapphire versions are going for the prices they are.

Check Newegg. They just sent me an email a couple days ago about those laptops. I didn’t pay attention to the dates though because I’m not in the market for one.

That's gonna be a waste breh. A 4090 in a laptop is going to be designed to consume less power and have less performance because of the size and heat constraints inherent to the form factor of a laptop. And the whole point and advantage of a laptop is mobility, size and battery life; things which gaming laptops are horrendous at. And then when you add the cost into it, and they can cost as much as a desktop gaming PC.
