Has anybody used a “silent” mechanical keyboard? What are your thoughts and which one did you get?”

My job is forcing me to use a Mac. The Apple official external keyboard is so thin and terrible to use. So, I switched that out with an extra Razor mechanical keyboard I had laying around. It’s great, but it’s so fukking loud. It’s horrible in meeting.

Any suggestions?

Don't know if this has been mentioned but I'm liking the successor to the PC I have which is the Hades Canyon NUC. Almost makes me wish I would've waited lol

Think big, go mini

iu

Some specs:

11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7 processor
Discrete NVIDIA® GeForce RTX2060™ Max-P graphics card
Up to 16TB of NVMe storage
Connect up to four 4K monitors via HDMI, mDP, and two high-speed Thunderbolt 4 ports
Four USB 3.2 Gen2 USB ports

Id actually cop this if it were an rtx 3060:ohhh:

Been using my corsair strafe (cherry mx silent) for almost five years. Great for gaming, but for typing - i prefer the original cherry mx reds.

As far as noise. The cherry mx silent is definitely more quiet than traditional keyboards.

With all these price increases and Nvidia refusing to make a good amount of 3080 FE. It's either 3090 or midrange FE cards. We all got fukked. AMD ain't helping with shyt either.

I spent like 30 minutes during the last Bestbuy drop trying to get anything. Eventually got lucky with a 3080:blessed:
My last bust buy drop was awesome. Got a PSU, 5900X, my monitor, and a 3090.

Got the 5900X 1st... Then, the spam for 3080, but all sold out. I was able to get a 3090 with ease, tho. Then, I got my G9 monitor too.

On the 6800xt and 6900xt launch days, both Microcenters in GA only had ONE card of each, while Nvidia and third-party companies had a huge drop of all their 30 series stock the same day.

AMD already killed themselves with that horrible GPU launch, Nvidia just pissed on the grave.:russ:

Upgraded some pieces on the gaming pc, most of the stuff is considered old now, here is the build:

AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk WIFI
Corsair H60 Hydro Cooler
Samsung 860 1TB SSD
Samsung 860 500GB SSD
EVGA RTX2070 8GB FTW3 GPU
(2) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666 16GB Ram
Corsair RM750X PSU
Cooler Master S600 Silencio case
(2) Artic F14 PWC 140mm fans (Top)
(2) Cooler Master OEM PWC 120mm (Front)

Ran into an issue with the chipset fan, it was spinning at 5400 rpm, pc sounded like it was gonna take flight.. Pulled the plug, #4 pin was bent out of place, pushed it back and now it works normally.
