im trying to build this ....but with a 3070 cause theres no way i can find a 3080 on this island


it looked like it would be in the 2k range, but with these scalpers......

You can find a prebuild 3080 for 2000 and under

I wouldn't spend 2k on that little ass PC, seems like a rip off plus the guy is using as a rendering system with a 3090, which being portable I can see why it will be useful for professional work

Gaming, all you gonna do is fry the electronics, plus you can get a beast PC for 2k

this is exactly what i need it for. im a traveling digital artist that uses octane render and cinema 4D breh.

show me a prebuild itx sff for under 2k with a 3080. i saw a origin chronos and it came out to 3k. and im not even sure that can fit in a hiking backpack. what if i need to go to malaysia? i might be able to fit in my luggage and put bubble wraps on it but eehhhhhh. then i gotta refill the water cool every time. that can get annoying.

lmao the 3080 is only 200 dollars more than the 3070, its not going to raise the price of a prebuilt more than the other components that make up the prebuild from a real retailer I don't see how the same build can be 1000 more just because it has a GPU in it that cost 200 more than the other, makes no sense to me

Even if you are building yourself, 3080 is so much better for the extra better buy

Also if you are making money with the GPU, the 3080 is more than worth the scalped price, even miners buy scalpers because the work they getting out of it is worth the price still because they are making more money of it.

You can get one of the bigger 3080s, like the one I got the Aorus Master, its a 3080 but its the same size as the 3090, which is why the 3090 doesn't get hot even under maximum load and this one is even cooler. Under max load it doesn't get higher than 61, 33 degrees idle and it makes zero noise unless you turn the fans up to maximum which you don't need to do because the thing never gets hot.

If you could fit the 3090 in that case you can fit one of those and won't have to water cool it unless thats just something you want to do

but it sounds like you are in a position where you just need to get whatever you can how you can get it, so just do that

so you can get a 3070 Aorus Master or a 3080 Aorus Master, that's whats it called, it's made by Gigabyte, Aorus is their premium line

like ASUS TUF is like their regular line and Rog Strix are their premium builds

people don't realize the build of the GPU matters, that's why some AIBS cost more than Founder Edition, but cost and price don't equal

like the ASUS TUF is one of the best 3080s you can buy its and the same price as the Founder's Edition 699, with the OC version being 750

I had the gigabyte gamin OC 3080, it was a quality build 3080, big sturdy built good temperatures, good noise, everything good, the Aorus Master is just way better because its so damn big, virtually silent its just 4 slots big I called I sold it and was able to get this one

yeah you better off waiting for the 3080ti is suppose to come out this month you might be lucky and be able to get one, since most people won't buy a scalped 3080 won't be a 1000 for a GPU period so the 3080ti should be easier to get it plus they will have a regular 3060 soon
