Think I am developing a problem for hoarding new parts now and I don't know if it's the chase or what.

New build started R5 3600+B450 Tomahawk+1660 Super. Simple, did the job.
Then caught the 3080 bug and sold 1660 Super and copped the 3080 TUF OC on a random Newegg drop. Had the FTW3 Ultra but flipped given the market value.
Now yesterday just switched into a R5 5600x+X570 Tomahawk
and then ended up getting the 5900x on the recent Newegg drop, which is en route.

Help.

That motherboard is so clutch for 219

I feel you about hoarding parts

Went from a basic air cooler with basic DC case fans to an AIO liquid cooler with RGB everything

I might fukk around and replace my 3070 and 5800X for an 3080 and 5950X if i can be bothered to go back to the discord grind

oh man I never spent over 120 CAD on a monitor until now. did the 27 asus vg27aq 1440p
i been missing out. dual monitor setup so the other is just a simple 21 inch 1080p
you can imagine how I want to upgrade that one now lol.

lol it really doesn't end. I was totally content with the initial setup but the hype train of all these new goodies reeled me in. I usually have patience! I would def nab a 3080 though if you can though.

just run street merchant instead of discord. that way you can focus on just 3080/5950x of that's what you're gunning for

All lights come on. Lights on gpu are ok but fans on the gpu aren't spinning (not sure if that matters)

Double the check the hdmi cable and make sure its all the way in

Try a new hdmi or displayport cable and see if just the monitor or the cable

Yeah it's not the monitor or the cable. I was able to hook it up to another pc

Finally got this 5800x under control

That chip be running hot

Hitting 80c temps like its litework

This Aio liquid cooler might just be worth the hype
