so. whens that 3070 coming out
just checked my fav computer channel.....and it appears he agrees, the card isn't worth it. just overclock the 3080 and youd get the same performance.
he said just buy 2 3080s if you're rendering 8k using apps like octane or cad, can get 38% more performance.
so folks can't review items and compare now?Why do people always want to attach "value" to luxury/enthusiast items? No one is forcing anyone to buy the 3090. If someone (like myself) buys it, we're doing so simply because it's the best. The cost is irrelevant.
That's not the point I'm making. When reviewers look at the top card and start talking about how the performance doesn't justify the additional cost-- or how you can buy a couple lower tier cards to match or exceed a single enthusiast card-- they're missing the point. Buying the top card is about having the best. As long as it performs better than the others, it's done its job.so folks can't review items and compare now?
yea i know. but hes talking about performance, not just having 'the best'. his job is to review the card, and since this channel is about optimization, hes talking about how to get the better performance for the buck. That's not the point I'm making. What's the name of this model? And what's the catch? Why is it going for that price? Moving into a new crib soon and I'm about to fukk a check up on a new TVThe nobody has 8k is bullshyt.. LG just had a sale 75" 8k for $2000...That’s less than what i paid for my Oled..
I believe thats for gaming. not rendering and cad. thats why ol boy mentioned it in the video. You can't use 2 3080s.. Nvidia stopped that.
actually none of them are. plus you cant fit the 3090 into an itx. optimum tech literally has one of the smallest rigs of all the youtubers. and its watercooledI'm willing to bet all these guys shytting on the 3090 are using the 3090... Not like they're going back to the 3080 for "value" they just make these videos because they know most of their viewers can't afford the 3090.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Graphics Card - Founders Edition Black
Lmao.. look at the sales history. Today like 15 sales for the 3080 at $1400.. These people could have just went for the 3090.. I had one in my cart and i only tried once because i was at work.
if somebody brought the 2080ti for 1200 they probably feel like they paying 200 to upgrade
at the end of the day its NVIDIA fault for not having enough units
