Co-worker said he paid $1200 for a rig that can do 4K/60fps. Is he full of shyt or what?
It’s technically possible with a 1080ti, which costs like 3/4th of his budget, if he went real cheap with everything else. Still, it’s hard, as the cheap CPUs will bottleneck your shyt. Oh, and no way he’s playing on Ultra. Maybe medium/high with no AA. I got two Titan X Pascals, and when shyt is possible I run all ultra (no AA), 4K, 60 fps. Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 5, The Witcher 3, etc. use 80-90% of each of my cards. 1 card only, it would be at like 40 fps at ultra, 4K

I know a couple months back I seen an Alienware with a 1080 in it for $1250. Just have to watch the deals.

Could anyone suggest some upgrades I could make to my PC? I got this built 3 years ago. I don't know much about PC parts so I could use some help.

A new motherboard, cpu, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. If you still want to keep it AMD, get the new gen 2 Ryzen chips. GPUs are overpriced right now. Agreed. A 1060 might be availabile for a reasonable price though. It’s a perfect card at 1080p

stupid card kept giving me a Blue Screen when torrenting.
Also wouldn't work after the new Windows 10 update. Rolled back the update like 10 times because i couldn't figure it out.
Had to download the old 6.30 drivers and now shyt works fine
