@Ciggavelli at it again :russ:

I have been thinking of modifying my setup again as I have reached a point in where I need a dual Xeon 40 threaded setup. The question if of course - 2x LG ultrawides (which I love) or 3x regular aspect ratio monitors?

After talking to @Ciggavelli I was convinced I was going to get the Alienware Area 51 joint. :obama:
This morning I'm back on my iMac 5K 27" itch. :russ:
Freakin first world problems. I like the power inside the Alienware and upgrade-ability. Dollar for dollar it can't even be argued that the Alienware would be the way to go.
But then I go back to looking at Final Cut Pro X and Logic X and remember why I've stuck with Apple for so many years.
Apple doesn't have the horsepower the Alienware has but Apple's software is optimized like crazy for their machines.
Decisions decisions. :lolbron:

Yo, I was thinking about your shyt. CyberPowerPC probably has the best selections of any boutique PC vendor. You gotta know what you want though (as you have to pick parts for everything). If you need help with that, I can help you out. I actually like doing shyt like that.

But that Alienware is nice as hell :wow:

I might take you up on that offer.
Today Apple is still speaking to me. Tomorrow I might be back on my Windows vibe. Either way I go I know I'll have a dope machine.
(I kind of feel like no matter what I'll just buy both within the next year. Once the camera starts generating a steady stream of income this won't be so much of a debate anymore. I'm going to try to get heavy into creating real estate videos for video walkthroughs of homes on the market. I just need to get a drone know to have everything I could need. I'll do music videos too. I also have the income from the recording studio. Just trying to get involved with a little bit of everything. I already have a few people who are ready to get to work and split the work load up. )
I been looking at Final Cut Pro X tutorials all day today while at work :skip:

Well, spec-wise, a PC is gonna murder a Mac. You pay a premium for the ease that mac's provide.

But, on the PC shyt, we got Adobe Premier (I have all adobe products for $25 a month :wow:).

If you got the money, I'd get this

Buy iMac Pro

But for a better, more customized experience, you'd go PC. But if you're ballin', that iMac Pro is very appealing

@Ciggavelli infecting the coli with the alienware disease :snoop:

they gonna call us "casuals" breh :picard:
Yo. my Alienware is murdering everything

But, for real, they make good PCs and have great warranties. "A man of a certain age" (/star) doesn't build shyt anymore. We just buy prebuild shyt like it's nothing :manny:

Yeah I checked out the Mac Pro but at that price I would definitely just go with a PC with at least one (maybe 2) 1080 ti's.
I can't see spending $5,000 on a machine that doesn't absolutely crush 90% of the computers out there.
The computer is going to take a majority of my business budget and I'm fine with that.
I still have to consider the cost of a drone and a couple camera accessories (off camera flash, additional lenses, etc).
$3,500 or so for the computer is what I'm comfortable spending right now considering everything else I have to budget for.
That's why I've been looking at the Alienware Area 51 vs the 5K iMac 27".
Sidenote: I don't know if you heard but the latest Mac OS has support for external GPU's.
