I just want the highest of highs in FPS and I see the writing on the wall already with Ryzen. :patrice:

It's only been 5 months and I already want to upgrade everything in my entire system. I'm trapped. What did ya'll get me into :damn:
This is just the beginning. You're gonna start benchmarking like crazy soon. Then you'll be upgrading components for no reason other than to get a higher 3D Mark score. :whew:

Hmm, today is the last day I can return/replace my Dell monitor. I say replace because since I bought it back in November, occasionally the screen will blackout for one second. Some days it does it very often within minutes of each other, some days/nights I don't think it does it. I tried changing the cable, ruling out any other device connected to the GPU(receiver/TV) and any other cables.

I found a video of someone with the same issue claiming they fixed it by cleaning their system with DDU and drivers.

Several days now and no black outs. Looks like it's fixed.

Yeah, I think you'll have to lower some settings to get 144fps at 1440p. I wouldn't throw your 1080 in the bushes right now. The new nvidia cards supposedly come out in a few months, I'd wait until then to upgrade.

I dont expect to get 144fps but is 70-80 fps possible at 1440p? I remember you saying the jump from 1080p to 1440p was noticeable than 1080p to 4k

yeah the difference is more noticeable.. You might be able to get 70-80fps, but I still think you'll probably have to lower some settings in PUBG. Not too many settings though I would imagine
