So basically you gotta spend $1K to get more than 28 lanes? :beli:

I'll probably buy this shyt at the beginning of next year when I update my shyt. Intel moves too fast. The fukking X99 only lasted two generations....:mjcry:
Keep paying that Intel Tax brehs :heh:

They keep getting away with it :mjcry:

Up until three months ago, if you were a hardware enthusiast like me & @Ciggavelli, you had no choice but to pay said tax :to:

For the past decade, AMD has consistently failed to be competitive at the high end segment.

Looks like me and X99 are gonna be in it for the long haul because I have 0 interest in intel's next gen HEDT platform :russell:

The only thing I'm keeping an eye on is the 6950x, as the prices for that on the second hand market should plummet in the coming months.

Anybody deal with chattering key issues on theeir mechanical keyboards? It's basically when your keyboard registers an input twice and it happened inn this post already as you can tell.

This issue is quite frankly annoying as it constantly either double inputs or skips an input. I've already had Thermaltake replace my preevious keyboard already and I don't think it covers it again. It's' the Thermaltake eSPORTS Poisedon Z Blue Switch Mechanical Keyboard.

Corair had me clean the switch with alcohol, and that fixed my similar issue. I'm not sure if your switches are similar to cherry mx

I guess the connection gets dirty, so it either doesn't register, or it loses and then regains connection, causing it to double up

obviously unplug the keyboard before cleaning the switch. and make sure it's dry before plugging it back in. alcohol evaporates quick though

I'll try that later. For now I've used the chattery key program for a temporary fix. Seems to be pretty good so far. It even has a monitoring stat and also it plays a sound when it chatters.

Just switch my old A10 6800k to a 860k because of user error (ripping the shyt out when I cleaned the dust off of the heatsink). I think I'm going to upgrade next year and retire from the FM2+ since it's damn near obsolete nowadays.
Not sure how much you have invested in that build, but even switching platforms over with your components would have been a better move.

How much did you pay for that 860K? Hopefully it was used.

Might be time to move on from my RX 480 already, could make about $150+ profit and upgrade at the same time. :jbhmm:

Any advice on what to upgrade to? I've got a pretty basic monitor and shyt right now as well.

Porque - Saved Part Lists - PCPartPicker

might just go ahead and get a modular PSU with braided cables

no intentions of upgrading that monitor

finally put it together

case looks so bare

the RGBs on the mobo are hardly even noticeable

had one less black SATA cable than I needed

RGB strip is a cheap all white one I had behind my monitor

haven't had a new build system in about 7 years(last one was prebuilt) and I cant believe how quiet the fans are although I will definitely be getting some fans with LED or RGBs

I'm not really sure. I haven't even figured out what I'd upgrade to yet.

I see them routinely going for $350+ right now :ehh:
Yep because of the bitcoin rush. I would sell that asap and grab a 1070.

My friend wants one but is mad as hell at the current markup on AMD Cards :dead:
