Ryzen benchmarks are release
Quick notes:
When it comes to gaming the 1800x is a little bit slower then the i7 6850k and the i7 7700k:francis:
The surprising part is the r7 1700 keeps up well even beating 1800x in gaming:ohhh:
Long story short if gaming is your number 1 thing then I don't see why anyone would get the 1800x:yeshrug: but 1800x is better then Intel in the other stuff:ehh:
The 1700 is the sleeper outcheaa:ehh:

I am still on the fence with Ryzen. I am happy that AMD is finally competitive in some ways, but still behind Intel in per core performance which hurts them when it comes to gaming at the moment.

It might be a nice option if games ever start fully taking advantage of all the extra cores, but who knows if that will ever happen :francis:

Great deal for workstations from what all the benchmarks show.

A bit slower as in its noticable or only people who are keeping track of frame rates in real time would notice?

The fps gap is pretty big with the 1800x and the other Intel cpus:francis: After seeing tons of videos the 1800x is not a great "gaming only" cpu :yeshrug: the r7 1700 at a 3.9 clock keeps up and beats the i7 7700k at 5ghz:ehh:..I think the r7 1700 is gunna sell really well:ehh:

I'll keep watching, will buy a new processor this year after I get a new gpu. The 1700 looks like it might win me over as I was looking to get the 7700k initially.

imagine that bytch playing games 1440p/4k:wow:
I have the Titan X P (basically the same card as the 1080ti, here or there) and the card is a fukking monster. I tears through 4K like nothing (except for deus ex). Great, great card. It's well worth the asking price (basically 1/2 off what I paid :mjcry:)
