I forgot how GOAT pc gaming was, I left PC gaming alone for a decade until I built my current PC 2 months ago and it's been


ever since.
I've lowkey been surprised that the midrange PC build I ran with (1060 6GB & i5 6500) is tearing up everything I've thrown at it at 2560x1440 with no problems, only game that I've ran into slowdown with on max settings is Watch Dogs 2 but even on that I can get a consistent 23+ frames with the high res texture pack enabled at 2560x1440 and it's smooth as butter in 1080p
The deals floating around the internet for PC software are crazy compared to what they used to be, I just copped a $6 humble bundle that came with lifetime licenses for daemon tools, system mechanic, 3DMark and EaseUS partition master

Even Windows 10 itself is free lol.
Only downside is the inevitable upgrade cycle in 3 years, thankfully I wasn't impressed by none of the VR shyt I've tried so I should be good on that for at least another half a decade.
