I mean isn't that what the PBC dudes were doing, demanding career pay days to cross the street to fight Bud? Manny asked for $40 million guaranteed to fight Bud, only to get a fraction of that while getting his ass whupped in house by Ugas .
Regardless of how much Bud is worth PBC has opportunity to make everyone happy. Bud, Spence and themselves probably selling over 500k+ ppvs on the conservative estimate. Work some magic, give Spence more split and increase Bud guarantee....something to satisfy everybody and get the fight made.
PBC trying create the narrative from the gate that the fight is worthless and they would have to "build Bud up" (ie: make him fight in house multiple times first) to get the fight made is corny as shyt. Bud will be damn near 38 before they let him fight Spence . Hopefully this is just posturing and Bud is actively in negotiations and we get the fight after Spence v Ugas

I see Errol & Bud both leaving 147 to avoid Boots...so why not see if Bud can put One Time to sleep

I can actually see Thurman giving Bud more problems with his speed and movement.....but the way Bud used the body attack to slow Porter down, shyt could get ugly for Thurman if Bud goes in with that strategy and Thurman can't neutralize it

Bud was averaging $4M (overpaid) according to Arum since he was losing him money so he’s going to come expecting more than that for a purse against Spence. On top of that, talking he wants 50/50 of the PPVs. So, stop, five.

If Terence wants it, he’d say he’ll take any (fair, market-value) deal to get the fight made. I won’t tell another man what he is worth and how to do business but there are consequences.

It’s prizefighting. There are big fights for Spence has he’ll gradually go up in weight. Spence can actually get a Canelo fight but for Bud, it’s really Spence or nothing.

Spence is ducking Crawford and the PBC is letting it be known. If Spence such a big star then PBC shouldn't be worried about losing money at all since Spence will carry the ppv.. Unless they know Spence gets his ass beat or they know Spence stock has dropped and are trying to use Bud as a copout.. Either way Spence goes down in history as the duck that he is..

We have to see what Bob counters with..maybe he sent them an offer..got to let it play out.

But this proves Bud was trying to fight Spence tho. Even tho it’s no evidence whatsoever that Spence tried to make the Bud fight. Matter fact a PBC exec is in record saying that they never tried to make the fight and that it isn’t in their plans even tho Crawford a free agent. And Errol is on record talking about his side of the street. Still seem like a duck.

Crawford himself said Spence aint ducking him. Spence said in an interview(it was with ESNews I believe) they tried to open negotiations with Bob Arum years ago and never heard anything back. Spence and now Crawford have both told you now why the fight has been held up. Spence was already planning to get that belt off Ugas, it was already planned bruhs.

I will concede if after the Ugas fight(barring a mandatory obligation to the WBA because I believe Stanionis took step aside moneyto make Spence vs Ugas happen) if he don't fight Crawford I'll concede he is ducking and won't argue it.

Spence is gonna have 2 mandatories after the Ugas fight.. Spence and the PBC knew this when they signed for the fight.. The window of time to make the fight in a reasonable time with Bud was after Bud v Porter when he was no longer signed to Arum.. But Spence chose to sprint out the venue so he wouldn't have to address a Bud fight and been silent ever since and now the PBC announced they not even gonna attempt to make the fight.. Writings on the wall.. Spence plan to avoid Bud for years until he cleaned out an imaginary side of the street did nothing but kill interest in the fight.
