If Spence unifies against Ugas and doesn’t go for undisputed against Bud, then yes, he is ducking. I think it’s destined to happen, no more reasons for it to not. 1 fight away from both guys clashing.

I heard this interview, to me, it feels like a terrible attempt to start the negotiating tactics…..at best and it made Errol seem weak. I don’t know how much pull Tim has or how close he is with Errol’s camp to say. I’m just speculating. This is easily going to be Spence’s biggest fight to date and most likely the biggest fight he will ever have as well, there is no way this Tim guy is that dense. He is playing dumb.

If for whatever reason it doesn’t materialize then yes, PBC and Errol should get all the blame, no doubt.

Spence wants a bigger piece of the split bc he's been successful on PPV and holds more belts...well guess what, if he beats Ugas, he has 3 out of the 4 major titles

Spence offered Bud a fight where it would be a 60-40 split...Bud rejected it

How can Bud demand 50-50 when he can't sell a PPV

Bud fighting Porter was a step in the right direction...if he fights Thurman next, I'm almost positive Errol will fight Bud

Haymon will make sure Bud gets the necessary exposure

If what you said was true he would have let it be known that they would be pursuing this fight after the Ugas fight.. I wouldn’t say that. PBC tweeted a Bud vs Spence poster as soon as Bud beat Porter, and Spence retweeted it.

I’m not defending anyone, this clearly puts the pressure on Bud to take less, it’s a poor negotiating tactic.

We are this close now, like I mentioned, if Spence doesn’t go for undisputed after Ugas (assuming he beats him), then yes..by all means call him a ducker and a duck. This is Spence’s legacy fight as well, and the PBC would be dumb to leave that money on the table. There is no bigger fight for Spence. I think they will cut a 2 fight deal.
