It’s absolutely amazing how wack Ja Rule was in this era.
Howd they get patrick swayze in the video

That Wiz song with Curren$y is a classicLol theres too much going on this video to unpack. You have Ja Rule hamming it up to the extreme and pretending to cry for most of the video, the story is goofing on the FBI going after Murder Inc for washing Supreme's money, R&B singer hiding her face, Patrick Swayze lol guess he wasn't getting many roles that year, and that ending is insane. They might have even sampled Al Pacino for that GF3 tribute.
The song is okay. I might be wrong but I don't think theres ever been a classic record that sampled that Toto track. They're all mid. I like Nas 'New World' the best.
Haven’t seen this cideo since the year it came out, lol at the flashes of pac/biggie when ja gets shot at the end
@the horrible acting in the video. Irv & Ja hamming it up as Ja gets assassinated on the courtroom steps. GTFOH.
I know we've gotten sidetracked in the thread, but the fact remains, this is one of the biggest con jobs anyone has pulled on us. Leading us to believe this chick was either black or Puerto Rican dressing like Alica Keys and this was a full blooded white woman on the hook in the video.

That’s my first time seeing that video and lmaooo, it’s like they intentionally tried not showing her much
shyt!! that's news to me. goddamn the plot thickensThe chick from the video isn't Celeste Scalone though.
She's singing on the track, but the girl in the video was an actor. She's white too though, lol. She's married with kids now and lived in like Bali or some sh*t. She used to work at Def Jam, but she was pursuing acting and dancing. I forget her name, but if it comes back to me, I'll post her.
This is the chick from the video.
She was signed to Murder Inc. and actually worked at the label. I used to see her all the time up at Def Jam, but then she vanished and kinda came back as a lifestyle wellness guru, lol. But she was supposed to drop an album back then, and she did vocals on a few of Ja's tracks, but on "Murder Reigns" she was just doing background vocals and they had her lip-syncing Celeste's part in the video.
She was on these though:
This is a wild video, dude walked into the precinct to give info and got walked back into the FBI.Lol theres too much going on this video to unpack.
