It's true breh. That's why you right biggin up Spike so much. He one of the few tryna do it on some black movement shyt.

Spike does his thing. But I guess I look at it like this: One day, I'd love to write a comic book movie. And I'd hate for Marvel to tell me I can only write a black panther movie because I'm black when the thing I want to write and would be better at is a spider man movie. Same with a James Bond movie. I don't believe that your race or gender should dictate what you can write or identify with or appeal to you etc. If you can find the emotional connection or hook or whatever entry point, then that's all for the better. I'd be more upset if the people Dre and Cube and Gray picked to write the movie did a terrible job at it. If you're the best person for the job, then you got the job, simple as that
