that's fine, I think ryse is good even though its universally garbage.
I thought ryse was good also my thing with this game after all the negative press I went in like ok spent my 60 let's see what it do...

But I found myself pleasantly surprised by the story and I felt compelled like I really wanted to finish the game on top of jaw dropping graphics.

the whole appeal of Heavy Rain, Life is Strange, and the Telltale games is that the player's choices effect the story. that also mean they have replay value

While this is true Heavy Rain and Walking Dead Season 1 were two of my favorite games like this and I never went back to beat em more than once. Was satisfied enough one play through.:manny:

On another note it took me 5-6 hours to get through chapter 9 what's all this 2-3 hours crap?

I wasn't even checking corner or exploring the view or anything.

More like the illusion of choice in Telltale games. You save the life of A or B now only to have the one you did save die later over some BS so they can push you into a universal default state for all players that negates the choices they made and then end the game. The Order is literally playing through a movie. It's different objective than those choose your own path style games. I've never played a Telltale game and had the thought this is exactly like a movie.

I think its a disservice to compare this game with TLOU/UC which happen to have strong gameplay elements/direction as well as an interactive approach. TLOU which I thought was overrated did a great job at not relying on forced cutscenes to explain the story through each season. the way that this game is broken up, you essentially have to fight through non skippable cinemas/ forced walking scenes to even further progress. its literally everything I hate about video games today.
The Last of Us wants to be a survival horror game first and tell you a story second.

The Order only really wants to tell you a story. It doesn't really care about being a video game as much as it cares about being an "experience" for lack of a better word. That "experience" is literally you playing through a movie. Movies are linear they show you a given path and that's it. They're obviously cinematic by nature. There's a place for this style game and there's people that enjoy it. If you aren't one of them that's fine but why act like all games should avoid doing these type of things? Two different styles can exist at the same time.

There are some people that play games and only care about gameplay. There are some that play games for stories. I play for either or meaning I can play one game and simply be told a story and play another for it's gameplay.

Never listen to journalists(bytches) or reviews brehs :banderas:
Exactly. I'm on chapter 15 thinking this game is hot as fukk. Part 2 a must cop for me already. All this hating is going to push them to make a true classic. They want to box this game in a corner but in reality this game is a movie you play.

Doing some digging and gathering ESPN stats: this game may overtake Last of Us for the most posts for an exclusive on this site. :merchant: :dead:
