The harsh reviews for this game are a little unfair. There is nothing that is horrible about this game. I think the game is getting low scores just for not being innovative. The developers told us exactly what the game is and thats exactly what we got. i just think we're all starved for a game that justifies having a next-gen console and we havent gotten it yet. Shadow of Mordor was one of the best reviewed games but its only innovation was the nemesis system. The fighting on that game was just like the Arkham series. At it's core its just a button masher with QTE's as far as the gameplay. But it was fun and thats what we want from games at the end of the day. The Order isnt as fun as that game but it's still a good game. And its fukking beautiful. Maybe that's all we're going to get from this generation is really good looking games that run smooth as hell without much innovation in gameplay. We may be at the point where the next real advancement in gaming is when virtual reality games take over. With all that said...im really digging the game so far. It looks great. The shooting mechanics are good. Thermal gun is beast. I never really care much for stories in games so im not completely intrigued by the story but i like the concept. pacing isnt too bad so far for me. Some cutscenes are a little long and frequent but it's not making me dislike the game. im on chapter 5 right now. Im pretty sure I'll be disappointed by how short the game is but a lot of my favorite games have had really short campaigns. I'll post back in here after i beat the game.

it has to be..the main producer and creator is of Indian descent. I in my life have never seen so much venom thrown at a new franchise ever..even Heavy Rain never received this kind of hate..they have motherfukker out here giving this game a 2 out of 10..saying this game is a movie..saying this game is 3 hours long, releasing videos and articles saying why you should not pre-order this game..i never seen anything like this before..Racism??
Just watched my brother play chapters 8-12 and it's literally everything .wrong with video games. Cinemas, qtes, small enviroments, forced walking
Serious discussion here. With everyone knowing this, is it possible that the game would had achieved the same graphical power if it wasn't so cinematic quicktime event driven gameplay style?
Doubt it, enviroments are very small. The stealth sections is such a chore to watch, some of the worst game design ever.

This is not a bad game... It's just not worth $60. The graphics are GOAT and the gunplay was really good..
The pacing and story weren't that great so RAD's focus on the cinematic experience kinda backfired.
They should've applied the Telltale financial model here. If this game was broken up into 3 or 4 pieces and sold at $5 each episode, I guarantee it would have been received better. In addition, RAD could've taken the feedback received between episodes and used that to improve the game. So yeah that's a huge missed opportunity there..
I hope they get another opportunity because there is a solid foundation here. They've crafted an interesting universe, now they need to expand on the lore and craft levels that show off the exceptional gunplay..

Igraine's transformation into a potential antagonist is interesting I hope she goes further down that path in the sequel if we get it.
I'm all for Lakshmi x Grayson. Lakshmi straight up came in the game and stole the show.
I wonder what Grayson's next move is. Does he still fight the half-breeds vigilante style? does he bring to light what the Knight Commander was and tear down The Order? Does he join up with the rebellion? What does he plan to do about Hastings (Jack the Ripper)?
Grayson is sorta like Batman and shyt now. Hanging around on rooftops overlooking his city. Cops and everyone after him for a crime he didn't commit. I kinda got Watch_Dogs vibes from the ending as these two games end on similar ground.
