He had black kids in GI Joe breh. Walking Tall, his dad was black. He was portrayed as a black man with a potential black love interest (Janet Jackson) with his slight cameo in the Tyler Perry Joint. NAACP was a big thing because I guarantee you, if Rock did not show up he would have been crucified. Its common courtesy sure, but people don’t always show up to those shows. Pretty sure Rock doesn’t resent his father at all. They still have a relationship. Its just not as strong as the one with his mother because his father was not around early on. Thats not a bad thing. Rock has done a lot for his dad. He praises the hell out of his dad and what he’s done for him and for African Americans in wrestling.
