Second, Ashkenazi Jews gets their name because they MIGRATED to Ashkenaz (Germany) during the diaspora. The same way Sephardic Jews get their name because they migrated to Sepharad (Spain). Just as Magrebi Jews adopted the title after migrating into North Africa (Magreb).
