I opted out of the update since it warned that Destiny would fail to launch using the new dashboard. Did they fix it or has that bugged out for you? If not I might opt back in if its fixed.

It still bugged out. I just do a full reboot to fix that. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Microsoft got my Xbox on Thursday. I wonder how long it'll take them to get it back to me. Still tempted to sell it. Since I only paid $80 for it I could make a decent profit.

The Xbox they sent back wasn't the same one I sent them. I finally opened it and this one looks damn near brand new. they other one had obvious signs of wear on it. For $80 I'll just keep it as a spare. Since I got that second Kinect for $50 already It can double as a Blu-Ray player.

I think he buys broken ones off of craigslist and sends them into MS for refurbs/new ones. Something like that..

I bought a broken one off Craigslist. I got lucky cause the warranty expires in Feb 2016. The Kinect came from a kid of CL that said he never used it.

He knew to check it cause I had to call him back and have him cancel the order he put in to get it repaired himself so I could register it to me and do it. I don't know what he was thinking. He said the controller broke so maybe that had something to do with it. Round here you can barely get $200 for an X1 fully working with a controller on CL.

$200-$225 is the going rate for a used XB1

$225-$250 for a PS4

The trick is to get people who want to sell bundles...sell the discs you won't need to get the price even lower.

I saw someone post a kinect for $30 the other day and I just missed it.

He was short changing himself selling a Kinect that low. That's Xbox 360 Kinect price levels.
