Brehs, tech question.

ISSUE: I have a 4 Terabyte External Hard Drive connected to my Xbox One X, but I also want to make use of a 2 Terabyte Solid State Drive that was gifted to me. I want to use a USB hub and have both connected.

Question 1 - Is it possible to have multiple drives connected to a console?

Question 2 - If possible, will it affect performance?

Question 3 - If I purchased a USB C - USB 3 converter, would the converter create additional problems?

I purchased a USB-C hub from Amazon a while back - to charge USB 3 devices on my Pixel charger.

It looks like this -

Anyway, I recently was gifted a 2 Terabyte Solid State Drive that I want to make use of on my Xbox One X. EDIT: I am researching it and the 3.5 inch size is apparently not compatible w/ consoles so I was given the receipt and I could get a SSD that would be appropriate.

Also, when I get the receipt and exchange it, what would be a good SSD drive that would be good w/ an Xbox One X?

Good question about the hub, but I personally, would prioritize the ssd for the speed. Put your main/heavy play games on there, and use the other for apps and miscellaneous stuff.

You can have two drives connected at once, it supports a third drive but only for media purposes.

It doesn't affect performance, but different drives gives different results :yeshrug:

That other shyt, Google will help you. I think you over thinking this. Cop an 8tb drive and call it a day

Just copped my X1X waiting for my connection to connect kinect (don’t ask me how :wow:). Can the X1X act like a DVR when the cable box is plugged in? :jbhmm:

Haven’t bought anygames yet figured I’d run through gears 360 version with the x patches? If they are even available? :patrice:

Does backwards compatibility still have noticeable input lag? Last time I tried Gears 3 everything had a half second delay, making MP unplayable. That was a long time ago though.

What's your gamer tag?

I'll bust that ass in any multiplayer game you play.

Side note, you should really cop Gears 1 Ultimate Edition. That's the superior version instead of the 360 gears.
