That's true, but a 2 second camera shot of him and a flabby and sick Paul Orndorff don't count for the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania

I loved the callbacks to WMX and WMXX. Bryan winning the title at the end doing double duty like Bret. They had Bryan looking at the poster earlier in the week and then Bret congratulating him backstage after the show.

Then you had HHH/Bryan going through old Benoit spots, the diving headbutt, crossface, germans, etc.. and Bryan winning the title in a triple threat at the end and hugging his family like Benoit and Eddie hugging.

It makes logical sense. Bryan is this generation's Bret/Benoit.

I know i'm late to the party but as a an old head that was an avid fan from the 80s to about the start of cena's era that was quite ho hum.The only 3 noteworthy things were the start with 3 of the biggest success stories from wwe, the shock factor of taker's streak ending on such a shytty match and Daniel's crowning.


ps was I the only one that was with the way they overbooked the bryan match? they overdid it to the point he wasn't even selling his arm injury let alone the bautista bomb + rko on a table combo

shyt felt like a cena match low key. I can picture j oh hitting the a a on testa and then start to make him tap after going through beyond logical physical damage. Don't worry the fans won't get sick or even notice this booking cause Bryans character is different and I fukks with d bry but call a spade a spade
