How is Cena shytting on Bray by hugging his dad after his match:dwillhuh:

Did you want him to be mad after he won?
in the match he was supposed to be fighting for his sanity so now I realize why he had to hug his family afterward

I think I've just about recovered from this. I came back to this thread to expect a celebration of one of the grestest ever Mania's and instead I see some complaining at the booking?

Brehs this was magical from start to finish.

Hulkster, Austin & Rock kickin' it like some hombres, even clowning on Hulkster on that WWF Silverdome Botch. Haha! The Mount Rushmore of WWE starting it off.

Followed up by HHH/Bryan which tore the fukking house down. shyt was great. I coulda ended it all right there brehs. That entrance too!!

Yeah I'd have liked to have seen my dawg Reigns & Co come out and run a 20 minute killzone but they came in, whooped that ass, and kept the show moving.

Next up, check back on the posts brehs, I called my man Cesaro on that Battle Royal. He did his thing with that Andre/Hogan powerslam moment over the top rope

Cena had to go over, cos you know how Vince is. Bray is the kinda heel who won't be wounded bh that loss. He'll keep it moving like it ain't no thing. Incidently, I think he'll take Taker's spot. Big shows, big matches, big entrances. He's the new wave Taker.

What came next... I wasn't ready brehs. I was legit shocked. Vince, HHH, Taker, you got me. That was a booking masterclass. The shock at the three count, the silence, the jaws that dropped, the reactions, the tears, the hate, the anger, they fukking nailed it. I see that as Taker walking away, like a champ should do in the wrestling business... on your back. Take note Bret.

The main event, I gotta be honest, a small part of me thought Punk was going to make the save after the HHH, Steph run-in and then the legacy team-up. Never doubted D-Bry would take that strap. Glad he did, and a great moment to end the show on.

John Cena isn't over? :what: Shut your stupid ass up man. Bryan fans, goodness.
Over: Accepted by fans, and getting the desired reaction from them. A face wrestler is considered over when they are being cheered and supported by fans, whereas a heel is considered over when they are booed and hated. The term suggests that the fans are buying into what the wrestler is selling, meaning their character and perceived abilities

How exactly is Cena over when his desired reaction is cheers as a Face, when half the audience could give a fukk about him and boo cuz their sick of him. Dude is 95 Hogan status. Not really a big Bryan fan btw. Not really that upset at Cena winning, cuz honestly I knew he would... and I knew there was nothing I could do.

I loved the callbacks to WMX and WMXX. Bryan winning the title at the end doing double duty like Bret. They had Bryan looking at the poster earlier in the week and then Bret congratulating him backstage after the show.

Then you had HHH/Bryan going through old Benoit spots, the diving headbutt, crossface, germans, etc.. and Bryan winning the title in a triple threat at the end and hugging his family like Benoit and Eddie hugging.

It makes logical sense. Bryan is this generation's Bret/Benoit.

I just realized it. Bret did it 20 years ago and Krispenwah was 10 years ago. Damn.

I feel like Bret should have had some sort of appearance at Wrestlemania last night or some sort of backstage cameo, I didn't even know he was at the HOF ceremony until they showed him in the crowd during the recap last night and I watched the entire ceremony Saturday night..if I can nitpick about anything from a great Mania that would be it..

They did mention him when they were showing all the legends in the seats.
