At some point there was a plan to air a Sting video during Wrestlemania 30, then have him make his WWE debut on RAW the next night.

Meltzer has gotten terribly sloppy in his advanced age. He used to kill this backstage shyt. Now it's hit and miss. He was spot on about the Mania card for the most part but he's so off on other shyt, it's hard to trust his word on anything now. I mean, when you factor in the Hall, Mania, WrestleCon and all the indy events, anyone who was ever anything in the business is in New Orleans. Sting is there, Punk is probably there.. etc.. but will they make an actual appearance? He has no idea. We just gotta watch

...on my FB, I had this one dude who was all up in a twist over Warrior going into the HOF saying he only had a 4 year run, held the IC title twice, and only held the WWE title once, and wasn't HOF material. Idk, brehs, but to be remembered 20+ years after said "measly" four year run is pretty impressive in my book and going by those credentials he listed he has a more impressive resume than half of the people in the HOF.Not to mention...it's a wrestling hall of fame. Nothing to get all upset about.

But you also have to account that people credit him for saying things that he never did. They just throw "Wrestling Observer Newsletter" on the story and people believe it, but I subscribe to the Newsletter and some of these stories I never even recall him saying anything about period.
