Inspired By Wrestlemania 28: The Top Ten Most Metal Wrestlers Ever

04/07/2013 News

- At best we can tell, WWE Champion The Rock was not in attendance for Saturday night’s ceremony but one fan noted they spotted his mother in the crowd. Dolph Ziggler tweeted the following before last night’s ceremony about Rock:

“hey @TheRock marks would 90′s rock sit back and ‘know his role’?”

- Most everyone in attendance for Saturday night’s WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Madison Square Garden noted that the crowd was very rough at times. Donald Trump and Maria Menounos apparently received the biggest boos of the night. One fan noted that Maria looked like she was going to cry. She went long during her speech for Bob Backlund and was met with “WHAT?” chants.

When John Cena was shown on the big screen, the crowd booed him out of the building. WWE aired a Make-A-Wish video featuring Cena and even that got a very negative reaction from the crowd.

- There was a strong buzz around Bruno Sammartino backstage at the Hall of Fame Saturday night. Many of the WWE stars were meeting Bruno for the first time ever.

Absolutely no decorum. There's a time and a place for all that...though I'm not quite sure of either the time or the place to be booing dying kids.

oh please theyre booing cena and you know that

they gave bruno a goddamn standing ovation, respect is given when its deserved

not to mention prices for wm tickets is off the meat rack, so if I go i'll boo who I want

It's funnier if they're booing the kids though, so I'm sticking with that.

Ya know, not to harp on about this make a wish thing and all jokes aside,
According to the results of a 2011 Wish Impact Study that surveyed wish parents, health professionals, and volunteers, a wish come true empowers children with life-threatening medical conditions to fight harder against their illnesses.

Improved Health Status - Health professionals who treat wish kids, including nurses and doctors, overwhelmingly believe that the wish experience can improve a wish kids’ physical health. - Most health professionals say a wish come true has the potential to be a positive turning point in the child’s battle for health. - Parents and volunteers observe that a wish come true makes kids feel stronger and more energetic. - Wish kids are more willing to comply with difficult, but vital, treatment regimens. - Parents and medical professionals alike describe the wish experience as a frequent turning point in wish kids’ battles for health.

A combined 89 percent of doctors, nurses and health professionals surveyed say they believe a wish experience can influence wish kids' physical health.

Enhanced State of Mind - Children and their parents alike experience more happiness and less fear in their lives. - Children are less isolated from friends, and feel a return of self-confidence that comes with feeling “normal” again. - They are empowered to take back control of their lives, and to keep up the fight against their life-threatening medical conditions. - Parents say their family units – often strained to the limit by stresses of the illnesses – are repaired and strengthened through the shared experience of the wish process.

Ninety-nine percent of parents reported that the wish experience gave their children increased feelings of happiness and 96 percent said that the wish experience strengthened their families.

Strengthened Communities - Volunteers feel an increased sense of compassion and desire to help others in their community. - They feel a renewed faith in humanity. - They trust others more and feel more optimistic about the future. - They feel a greater long-term commitment to philanthropy.

Ninety-five percent of community volunteers reported an increased sense of compassion and 84 percent felt an increased faith in humanity
This motherfukker is out there saving lives, bringing families closer together and inspiring long term charity work, booing him is one thing but get a sense of context, booing those video packages, just because he's in 'em, when it has such a positive effect on peoples lives is fukking ridiculous.

That's like that one time Bryan Alvarez was reviewing WrestleMania XXVI, and the other dude he was reviewing it with got all salty because he thought the fans were booing the military during the setup to Cena's entrance. And Bryan repeatedly try to explain to this cac that they weren't booing the army guys, per se, they were booing the mere ANTICIPATION that Cena's pansy ass was about enter the stadium.

Because it's still real to them. These guys can't separate the real from the fake. That's why people view wrestling fans as autistic fakkits like R=G.
