Seems like a lot of people hated the show.

My girl thought the show was disappointing, which I agree to somewhat,

There was no great moments at this Mania, nothing felt special at all.

The predictability we all were concerned with was exactly what happened and that's what hurt it.

Anyone else completely shocked their was no intro videos from the main event? They just threw Rock/Cena out there like it was a Raw match, no special entrances or anything.

And let me be clear, the first 5-10 minutes of that match were bad, it seemed like just another slow paced Rock match, but they picked it up at the end and told a good story.

there were good matches but they all had wack endings, like big show knocking everybody out just because they wont tag him in, fandango being jerichos punching bag hitting like 3 spots match over, no blood during brock and hhh, no crazy fukkery during the taker punk match, no ziggler cashing in MITB and rock/cena 2 well...

had their call backs to last year and it turned into a good match.

The show was about what I expected so I wasn't disappointed really, Punk/Taker was way better than I thought it would be. A ton of stuff was rushed, though that's the usual Mania deal. No planes overhead or America The Beautiful though :damn:

That was the key that made me like that match. They were smart enough to play off that last encounter and that brought the drama into the match. They suspended disbelief for a period there and it was good stuff. It was much better than their last match and probably my favorite Rock match since he's returned.

I wasn't disappointed either, I enjoyed it for the most part, but I also know it was basically a B- show. No special moments, nothing that felt classic.

About the America the Beautiful or Jets overhead, could not agree more. The whole show gave me that feeling that somehow Vince was skimping on the presentation. I think he put all his money into fireworks and the set and other areas of the show suffered from it.

- No singer to kick off the show
- Only 9 matches on the card with a lot of talent being left off.
- No special entrances for Cena/Rock or Brock/HHH, they got announced and came out like it was an episode of Raw
- The most egregious error, no video package for Cena/Rock. They did nothing to make that match feel special, it was just thrown out there at the end.

I couldn't agree more, there was nothing special about the show.

It was cut and dry, with mostly okay to good matches throughout the card, but nothing we`ll look back on and remember fondly.

Even Taker/Punk, the crowd was crazy for it, but it was just way too short and Punk missing the table spot, shyt like that takes a lot away from the match. We all remember great matches with classic table spots, so when you fukk up that spot it's a black eye on the match.

There were Cena and rock promos plus their match promo but basically went right to cenas entrance after triple h's match

Brock's reaction to triple h having some kind of powder on him and trying to figure out what it was while hhh was coming to the ring was hilarious

I didn't have any problem with the show other than triple h beating Brock... Brock should have only jobbed once or twice during his whole wwe run and is a much bigger future piece than triple h will be

Brock should have beat Cena last year, it'd make a Cena Brock rematch huge and could definitly have fit as part of cenas redemption year

Nobody fukked up, shyt happens.

If you noticed, punk didn't get the TV out of that table and it actually fell underneath the table had it broken that could have really injured somebody... Punk knew this and probably didn't put all his weight into the table to avoid anybody getting hurt

Yeah and that's how he fukked up, he half assed it.

I`m not saying I want anyone to get injured, but if you want to be truly great you have to go that extra mile.

He kicked a FG there instead of going for the endzone.
