Buffalo Trace is probably the most popular distillery in America right now. Outside of regular Buffalo Trace bourbon you can barely find any of their bottles at MSRP. A $40 bottle of Eagle Rare going for $100+ SMH

I could make this a real long list, but a few favorites:

For bourbon, if it's being mixed (especially Manhattans or Old Fashioneds), Four Roses or Old Forrester are my go-tos. OF 1920 is a nice pickup especially for the price. If I'm going rail, Evan Williams punches way above its weight.

If I'm drinking it neat, Weller 12-Year or Old Fitzgerald 15-Year are highest on my list. Depending on the year, the Old Forrester Birthday series is a good call. Same for Midwinter's Night Dram. And if you gotta go Pappy, Lot B gets slept on - lot of bang for your buck. Although, it's worth trying the 10, 12 and 15-years if you can get it.

For the under-the-radar (compared to bigger names), Bardstown Discovery 6 is nice.

Non-bourbon, Gunpowder, Wigle and The Botanist are dope gins, big fan of KoHana for rum and Auchentoshan for scotch.
