Man, if we lose to the Giants...
Jeff Fisher *Coughs* I meant Ron Rivera doesn't really give a damn at this point. He has checked out. Washington is on the hook for his 9 million next year too and he should take his "Back the Blue" D coordinator with him.

I think Howell has brought himself another year but I hope the new coach brings in more competition as well. I think Eric B will be gone as well too. Usually I have my usual tradition of getting the best seats money can buy when we play Dallas, in Dallas. I wouldn't go to that game now for nothing in the world, I will keep my money in my pocket.

Makes me sick to my stomach how they caved and changed the franchise name, other fans take over the stadium year in/year out, and we kept a coach that looked the part but is a classic underachiever two years longer than we should have..

Ron definitely needs to go back to his riverboat, but I like Howell & Coach Bienemy. I'd like to see what they could do without Rivera's awful schemes.

First move they need to make in offseason is clean out front office and hire a legit GM for the first time in what seems like an eternity. Let that guy handle the HC decision.

NO, Del Rio is NOT taking the fall. Del Rio a byproduct of the "good ol boys" network and/or nepotism with his buddy Rivera who by the way has ONLY had THREE winning seasons in his ENTIRE coaching career. He's the latino version of Jeff Fisher but worse. Del rio is NOT an innovative DC and can't make in game adjustments.

We had four 1st round picks on the D-line which was unprecedented but if you don't have a competent QB you won't go far in this league.

I won't go back to the Cousins/RGIII days but what I will say is that 2019 Draft was supposed to be the best but we failed at the QB position then which is why we are in the position we are in now.

In that 2019 draft we drafted Haskins, Montez Sweat & Terry Mcclaurin among the most notable and only Terry remains. Haskins was a project who never worked out and they did not want to pay Sweat who underachieved.

Sam Howell is a 5th round pick who plays like a 3rd round pick at best in some cases. He's not the future. Also Eric B won't even be in consideration for the HC job. Harris the owner decided to keep Rivera and not give Eric B the interim job as an audition which means they are cleaning house the day after the season ends.

I agree with all of this..

So you think Eric B wont be retained regardless? Interesting. I was wondering myself if Rivera was fired woukd Bienemy either be Head coach or cut loose. I think any coach who comes in would have to really consider keeping him. This a potential deep QB draft.. yall gotta take one

Personally I would give Eric B a shot but the fact that the owner(s) basically agreed to give Rivera the entire year despite many calling for his head speaks volumes. They are getting rid of everyone and hire a new GM and that GM will bring in his guys.

I think Eric has done okay with Howell but what is his real ceiling? He a slightly better version of his predecessor in Heinike who had bounced around the league. This franchise is so QB thirsty that ANYONE who looks halfway decent they are automatically deemed to be the guy.

Howell has games where he has thrown 4 picks, fumbles but he is a 2nd year 5th round pick. You don't draft a guy like that to be the man.

Change happens from the top down, not the bottom up. Jay Gruden was a terrible coach, talent evaluator and so is Rivera and the mgmt who hired him. Hopefully in the offseason they can get it right.
