not so fast my friend...We got a QB
Howell has some potential and has earned at least another season BUT I would not say he's the truth given the long laundry list of QB's we thought would pan out for the franchise. I would say Howell has a slightly better arm than heinike but the difference in them is not night and day.
I don't know who the poster is, but he made a bad faith thread comparing Mahomes numbers to howell's. But when you watch the game you see the terrible INT's in bad moments like at the end of the 1st half when howell threw that INT when they were about to score.
During the game yesterday Vilma the broadcaster made a great point. You have a team with an entire coaching staff on the hot seat, if they cant swing together a multitude of wins and a possible playoff birth then EVERYONE will possibly be gone. The patriots are trash and the commanders gave them every opportunity to win that game.

To hell with all that. He passes the eye test. The next best comp we've had here is Kirk and hes playing better than he did at this stage with a much worse surrounding cast. He can make all the throws and has the arm. We bouta be byke!

Been following this team since '91 breh...
Patrick Ramsey, Mark Brunell, Jason Campbell, Mcnabb (who we thought would take us out of mediocrity) , Colt Brennan, Cousins, RGIII, Henike, Haskins, have all passed that same test at one point or another. All I'm saying is I'm not sold on Howell at all.

Nah this ain’t a fair assessment, Heinicke arm is no where as close as good as Howell, Howell has made hella throws Heinicke couldn’t
That INT at the half was bad, but Riveria takes blame partly for not calling timeout and Howell was the reason the drive even extended with that third down rush
Howell is easily the best offensive player on the team this year, Washington fans haven’t seen good QB play in 30 years seem like folks don’t even know what they seeing
only thing taylor truly has over sam..is pocket presence ... sam tends to sit n let the pocket collapse..
taylor had instinct..n got the hell up outta there...
if eb gets the coachin job n remains coordinator...he will fix that ...
