lol @ taking up for Lalas' stupidity. How is this a great game for England when they played well early, then as the game wore on were forced to park the bus? Parking the bus isn't bad, but the fact is they had no counterattacking plan whatsoever and they held on for a draw for 45+ minutes. England is lucky and are on pace to flop again.
Lalas is a horrible football analyst.

outside of the preference for a particular style of football, what does that have to do with lalas being a shyt commentator?
if he were insightful that would at least dull the severity of his bias. but, he wasn't a good player, lacks any insight (at least not any he shares) and is horribly biased and carries himself as if he's some sort of heir of authority. his total delivery is shyt.

personally I have zero problems with england parking the bus...
but then if you do park the bus... media has to admit that they are far from the favorites status the national team gets all the time for no reason. its not like france is barca or city....its not spain either.
so you either park the bus and admit youre a bottomfeeder and be happy with a draw against decent squads...or play to win and act like youre a favorite.

Along with Fulham, which is a family thing and Ive lived not too far from the ground my whole life. It more Stockholm Syndrome than anything else
not at all. I have no problem with how Chelsea beat Barca, because they had a clear counterattacking plan. England sat back with no intention of trying to score a goal off a counterattack no matter how high France played.
