:ohhh: I thought I was the only one who thought that. I'm American but the way Ian Darke rides our dikk and then claims he's "neutral" is ridiculous. Steve is ok but Lalas is shyt.

it's obvious breh... if we play like shyt, i want it called that way and not sugarcoated, etc.

when commenting on the game, talk about the game, don't say they lost but played well due to the lack of players... that should be for a different segment/show, etc...

as commentators they shouldn't be downplaying one teams plays/fouls and overhyping the other, etc.... just obvious stuff.

especially lalas, he's very nationalistic. and darke is happy to be on espn so kisses that ass, even when he's doing women's games, etc.

Good result, apart from Diarras header chances, France were restricted to long shots.

Woys organisational skills

Welbeck :stylin:

Once Gooney comes back, move Young to the left, Ox to right and Welbeck up front :win:

:what: You got 1 point breh.. How the hell is that a good result?

Yup. You can't tell me an Englishman would get that hype when Landon Donovan put us through to the next round :beli:

yeah darke and mcmanaman were hella biased. Esp. when Glen Johnson elbowed Ribery and they acted like Ribery dove even after they showed the replay.

When England turned the ball over sometimes you could hear Steve sucking his teeth :laff: But I can't blame him. It's his country :manny:

lol @ the Brits being satisfied with a draw. That's when you know your team ain't shyt

:shaq2::stopitslime:

1st games of tournaments are always cagey affairs. 2nd and 3rd round group games are more open.

People werent sayin shyt about Italy being happy with a draw vs Spain yesterday. France will be happy with a draw considering they created fukk all barrin one set piece header and were more interested in bangin them in from outside of the box

Youre expectin more out of England than the actual fans are

:snoop: @ the posters in here.

fukk, in the world cup that shyt made my day when we drew our first game. set us up nicely for the next two games against (perceived) inferior competition. and it did prove to be the vital point that put us through

and of course lalas is gonna say that stuff

- he was a central defender
- he played in a USA team that had to ALWAYS rely on defense to get things done
- he played in the serie a in 1990s

of course he's gonna love england performance against superior competition, when they held out like that

you people are stupid

the american soccer commentators overall are extremely biased whenever any U.S. team takes the pitch... even their tone of voice and demeanor change which is obviously extemely unprofessional.

same goes for ian darke and steve mcmanaman being very biased...

espn seriously need to drop lalas, darke and mcmanaman.

Yeah, American commentary (from what little I've heard of it) is shambolic.

Having said that, the ITV commentators today were hilariously biased. Ribery gets his calf stepped on, "Why should they kick it out of play? He's just tired!" England player completes the simplest task, "He's been a warrior today!", superlative on top of superlative. French player does something skillfull? "Right, carry on."
