It’s her event. People really don’t pay attention to hurdles the way they pay attention to the 100 or even 200. Trust if she was doing in those events what she’s done in the hurdles everyone would know her.
Well, I wouldn't say that Syd had "zero" personality. But she certainly isn't bombastic like Sha'Carri.
True, the next American female sprinter to win the gold in either the 100M or 200M is going to be a SUPERSTAR and household name.

Just cause Sydney’s not cutting WWE promos before and after races doesn’t mean she lacks personality.
Bolt kinda destroyed the idea of the quiet champion in Track and Field. People expect you to do more than run and win now. It reinvigorated a sport that was suffering, but it became a blessing and a curse.
There used to be a time where, quiet or not, Nike would find a way to market you,cause at the end of the day, you are a winner. I know Sydney isn't with Nike but it just shows how times have changed.
They were looking at the social media hype for sha’carri, They were hoping she would bring in the casual viewers. I will say I like the hype social media has spotlighted on these world championships.
watch the races now truly a great night for track and field. I hope Team USA continues to have good handoffs, Sydney is one of one how do you keep breaking your own record lol, and Michael Norman finally is a world champion.
