According to Tory's defense team it's about Meg backdooring her supposed best friend and linking up with her best friend's at the time current/past partners (Her best friend publicly called Meg out for this)....which goes against her brand of women solidarity/empowerment

Tory's defense team are presenting a case that:
Meg's jealousy of Tory fukking with Kylie and her best friend led to Meg causing a scene at Kylie's house and eventually escorted out.
Meg was the only one from their party told to leave. Meg didn't want to leave without Tory. Tory ended up leaving with Meg, and her best friend.
Meg's nature of "stealing" her best friend's partners led to the shooting that night.

So Tory shot her to defend her friends honor?
