A little bit of both.

She vaguely said something to the effect of “i wasn’t totally truthful in the first interview that night” but she didn’t really go into detail.

So no jumper reported that, but in the next tweet they offered a list of things she could have been talking about.

People took that as saying that she got up there and one by one denied the things she said in the interview.

But once other court reporters were able to get their story out they said she confirmed some of the stuff in that first interview specifically that a million dollars and paying for her lawyer were talked about by Tory, but she was “not sure” if it was a bribe for her not to talk about the case.

It's not open and shut because if it was it wouldn't have went this far. That's just a fact. Botched crime scene. Botched investigation. Victim lying to the police initially. Victim lying to detectives initially. Victim lying about the details of the night. Unbiased witnesses seeing things that conflict with the story the victim is telling. MULTIPLE people with GSR on their person. One person with both DNA and GSR and one person that's inconclusive. I'm also willing to bet if they did a GSR on Meg it would be on her too. U got a key witness and the other person in the car pleading the 5th not to incriminate herself all while she's the person of interest in the defense. This shyt is a mess. Lanez also offered to give her the hush money through hiring a lawyer or investments, Harris testified.

Through the few details that were shared, Harris said that the comment that set Lanez off ahead of the shooting was when Megan told him that he owed his fame to being "on a remix with Jack Harlow."

Only reason this case isn’t open and shut right now is because the prosecution must convince the jury that there is no other reasonable explanation that can come from the evidence presented at trial. They’re having a hard time proving that. No one knows anything. No one knows how it started, if it was a struggle, who’s gun it was, who pulled the trigger, if it was a fight, if this nikka screamed damn bytch dance, etc. If I was on the jury I’d be confused. The other potential shooter is still questionably the shooter and no one knows what is going on STILL.

Meg did her thing. It might’ve been over if she was the only witness.

There is the potential Tory may be deported over this incident. Kelsey is more than likely the shooter (given the eyewitness account, DNA and GSR), but he also may have handled the gun. It was in his and everyone's best interest that no one speaks about this. He is not a citizen; his career would be over.

He could have also been apologising for indirectly being the catalyst to all the physical altercations by mentioning he slept with Meg while they were in the vehicle. Which it appears led to Meg and Kelsey fighting (as seen by an eyewitness even though Meg denies), weapon being drawn and the evidence pointing to Kelsey being the shooter.
