Whatever happened to heard immunity?

Online stats showing 80% of Canadians being fully vaxxed. If I remember correctly, you needed 60% of the population vaxxed, or exposed/recovered from the virus before heard immunity will kick in and stop the spread.

I saw Twitter posts higher up pushing kids as young as five to get vaccinated.
