what do you propose as a solution to the problem besides the obvious like addressing racist practices.

There's too much to list. We need to get more visible minorities in positions of power and that's done through programs. There are plenty of qualified minorities out there. We need to help them succeed and that may mean incentivizing businesses. Also education. Kids need to be taught about the civil rights movement and the many contributions black people have made. Not just in February. More black based scholarships and programs for black students. Job placements and co-op for black students. Independent inquiry of the justice system and police reform. Blacks are not treated equally. I can go on and on. Something needs to change.

now ill go to both of those areas and piss on their welcome to signs
Toronto in the 90s has skinheads roaming all over the place. We knew not to go downtown alone or in small groups
You guys are old lol. that was years ago. Keswick is way better now. I remember Georgetown banned brampton transit from town.

Cops were in pursuit of someone who was driving recklessly earlier in the day. Apparently an officer saw the driver going a cool twice the speed limit, made a u turn and went in pursuit

Asked about racism, MacKay said there is systemic racism in Canada and Trudeau isn't the man to lead this country through a time when minorities are demanding access to equity because the prime minister wore black-face multiple times.

He said he grew up in New Glasgow, N.S., the town where Viola Desmond was arrested after sitting in a whites only part of a movie theatre, and he knows there has been a racist streak throughout Canada's history.

Never forget Justin
