it's not free... taxable and if you not eligible that's just a loan from the CRA and they always get their money back

the eligibility requirements are purposely low to get the payments out but they will collect

I think i was supposed to apply for the next period because I stopped working on Monday :sadcam:

I been biking almost every day but i stay away from anyone in my path literally will cross the road if i see someone coming my way..

we got enough green space and not many ppl out there

but i've been home almost all day since this whole thing started
you can really connect on the trails if you know how to map it and get from north york to the beaches if you are about that life

right down the middle of the city

don mills trails down to lakeshore martin goodman trails.

the further south you get the more congested. once I get to lakeshore I hit the trails heading to cherry beach or woodbine beach

then I double back all the way to North York in a few hours.

MAPS can help

Next I want to figure out a decent route to the bluffs

so that means that i get less on my return next year or does it mean i have to pay the feds money
all it means is you will pay tax on that benefit breh like you do any pay it's not that serious. the eligibility requirements is what you have to worry about if you don't want to owe them. simply put they don't want people who were not working declaring a "loss" of income from covid. usually they would be able to ascertain this info by not giving you benefits if you haven't done a tax return for the prior year.

Since tax filings are delayed they are kind of bypassing that until later. Only asking people that they have a minimum of 5k earnings on paper for the last calendar year to be eligible to apply.

I hope all you Trudeau bashers in this thread will acknowledge the job he is doing given the circumstances, hell even doug ford is performing half decent although not doing enough compared to other provinces

what exactly is trudeau doing? Trump is the one who closed the border, flights from china were still landing after US stopped them back in feb

All trudeau is doing is handing out money like every western government

China praises Canada, slams U.S. over coronavirus response

cra always gets their money
the only people who are screwed out of this are those illegal construction workers who got paid in cash
and waitors and waitresses who prob wish they reported their true tips now

I need my walk, call me entitled

if i'm hurting somebody by biking and walking in wooded trails around no one then that's news to me :yeshrug:

the rules are no use of park amenities including park benches.... I'm not sure where walks were banned or discouraged.

NATIONAL parks are closed. Not all parks. You doing too much...
If you’re not around anyone that’s fine but you don’t really have that opportunity in the city. “Nature” = parks or the waterfront and you’re not going to get much privacy on a nice day. I’m not doing too much - it’s a few months of sacrifice. Not going to make or break me.
