There are opportunities but lil brehs don't want em. A lot of foster care homes around the city have Black youth with mental health problems in them also. Their parents don't wanna deal with those problems so they dump them into the system. They go from foster homes to the shelter eventually.

I say this all the time. Drake blowing up brought this city down. If we ever get a football team this city is done.

Also, They bring (and keep) too many unskilled black people. My father came here with a trade skill, my mother got factory work and went to school to become a nurse.

Fast forward today, my cousin couldn't come for education and ended up in the Caymans to study, but her sister with 2 kids, no father, no education and no other skill but hairdresser has an apartment, a car and money to eat out everyday.

A cop got killed downtown this yr, and a few months ago a man carjacked like 7 cars in a short spree and shot a few ppl during the process...Jus a cpl of examples

And to be clear, im not trying to discourage anyone from venturing downtown cause it aint that deep. Just maintain a decent level of vigilance. Up north too....cant keep ya wallet ....bump n run car jacking robberies...its going down all over the place

toronto is just a cornball, harmless, corporate soulless city expensive for no legit reason. In the 90s and early 00s the city was still <<canadian>> and had its own flavour. People were way more down to earth, chill and knew their lane. They knew that Toronto was a big important city and kept it at that. They were not delusional to think the <6> was iconic as nyc, la, london. They were not even thinking they were massively influencing other teams culture, slang etc. They were peaceful, corny polite canadians and thats it.

NBA giving toronto the raptors changed the city forever.
