I want to know what went wrong. Like crime and sht is inevitable but why brehs killing for, it's tough to be a young black man in the city but there are opportunities. How did it even reach this point?
Like even knowing that black youth make a significant portion of children in foster care (I think nearly 40%) despite us being a small minority of the population, makes me uncomfortable. I feel like going to another spot cause we're really losing in this city tbh.

I had a young breh telling me straight up he respects shooters and he meant it. Like he look up to them.
There are opportunities but lil brehs don't want em. A lot of foster care homes around the city have Black youth with mental health problems in them also. Their parents don't wanna deal with those problems so they dump them into the system. They go from foster homes to the shelter eventually.
Sometimes some groups are over represented but for the most part everyone is caught up. You tend to see the latest arrival immigrant groups going through the bulk of the growing pains.
Sri-lankans went through their era of shyt but they settled down and locked down parts of Scarb. Afghans went through some shyt too... The difference is Nikkaz stay stuck at and aiming for the bottom.

I knew of Jamaicans and I remember VICE doing an episode on Somolians as well. But I figured Jamaicans only because they really outnumber everyone else.
They are in BC though, if their not the majority of the murders/doing the killing. Non-blacks just have more self-awareness and better control of the Media and Press.
