Podcasts, YouTube, blogs, streaming and social media platforms have taken over but old media is still around( radio, television, newspapers) because older people still read papers, watch TV and listen to the radio.
Once boomers and Gen X are gone, all old media platforms will be gone too. Young folks think TikTok, YouTube and Reddit are more credible sources of information than mainstream media. They trust podcasters and influencers more than actual journalists, scientists or experts
Can you still buy physical newspapers?
They still have those dispensers on the corner or you have to go to actual kiosks, stores?
